In the Democratic Republic of Congo we revealed a new court in Mbuji-Mayi, the home village of Dikembe Mutombo, at the Samuel Mutombo Institute of Science.
The GOA team worked hard to ensure that everything was prepared for our 15th court under our Built Within initiative and we greatly appreciate the support of our partners at the Jess and Scott Lake Foundation that helped us to make this possible.
In 2017, we were honoured to be joined by H.E. President Paul Kagame to open our first court in Rwanda.
We returned in 2022, under the Built Within initiative with a court upgrade and were once again joined by some very special guests.
Home to the Dodan Warriors professional basketball team, these two courts are building a strong foundation to empower its talented young athletes to be the next generation of leaders.
