Our team traveled to La Loche bringing positive energy and encouragement while addressing key social issues impacting the Indigenous community. Youth in the community also participated in a basketball camp and received life skills education.
Since 2017, Giants of Africa has organized a Leadership and Educational Forum for a group of Indigenous students registered at the Dene High School. The Forum includes travel to Toronto for a two-day conference aimed at advancing education through exposing the students to new opportunities and experience. We encourage them to take the knowledge learned and become leaders in their own communities.
