Since launching the Built Within initiative in September 2021, we have built spaces for youth to grow and lead across 16 African nations. Today, that journey brought us full circle to Lagos, Nigeria, for a milestone we will cherish forever.
Bringing this 50th court to life at the historic King’s College Lagos allows us to honour an institution that has shaped generations of leaders. To celebrate, the unveiling ceremony included special performances by internationally acclaimed Nigerian artists, May D and Mayorkun. We also hosted a community clinic on the new court for boys and girls from King’s and Queen’s College. This isn’t just infrastructure; it’s a launchpad for the community.
A milestone this significant is only possible with partners who share our dedication to the youth. A huge thank you to Forta for walking this journey with us and helping make this court a reality.
