South Sudan has the tallest population in Africa and among the top 10 in the world; the talent and skill level of its players is unbelievable, but relatively undiscovered due to a lack of resources. GOA was excited to visit for the first time in 2019 and partner with Luol Deng Foundation to bring athleticism to a new level on the court.
GOA’s very own Sarah Chan was born and raised in Juba, and has been monumental to our programs in the country.
