In 2026, Giants of Africa made its way to Guinea — the twenty-second country on the continent to welcome the organization. The visit carried deep meaning for the GOA family, rooted in a longstanding connection to the country and its people. In Conakry, we unveiled our 48th community basketball court, bringing world-class infrastructure to yet another community of young Africans hungry for the game. We also hosted a women’s coaching clinic, continuing our commitment to ensuring that the growth of basketball on the continent is led by and for everyone. Guinea was more than a stop on a map, it was a reminder of why this work matters.
