Lino Wol

With an infectious sense of awe, wonder and joy, Lino attended his first Giants of Africa camp in the summer of 2015. A 15-year old originally from the South of Sudan, he moved to Kenya with his cousins at the age of 10 and hasn’t seen his parents since. Despite the hardship that he has faced, and with a quiet and innocent grace, Lino seems to greet every aspect of his GOA experience with a profound sense of joy. It is a wonder to behold Giants of Africa through his eyes – the delight that he finds in moments both simple and small. Lino embraces Giants of Africa as an opportunity to become a better person and to make his parents proud.
